It’s your time to adventure! Embark on a 2 days trek and cultural experience. Truly experience the Lanten culture. Go up mountains with spectacular views of Luang Namtha, and through pristine forests to an overnight stay in the home stay. Experience traditional Lanten cooking and rice whisky. Walk throuhg Hmong and Khmu agricultural area. Trained guides will share information about the ecology and culture. Time will be taken to explore ethnic villages. We will learn about traditional crafts and engage with locals.

DAY 1: Ban DoyLakkham - Ban Nalan   (Local Homestay)

DAY 2: Ban Nalan- Ban Nahome - Ban Namlue

Morning: Begin the day by walking along the beautiful Namha Valley, a picturesque area known for its rural charm. As you hike, visit two different villages where you can interact with the locals and learn about their daily life and culture. Afternoon: Continue your journey deep into the jungle, exploring its untamed beauty and diverse flora and fauna. This part of the trek offers an opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the jungle's environment. Late Afternoon: The trip concludes around 3-4 PM, where a Tuk-Tuk will be waiting to take you back to your starting point.

Day 1: Journey to the Mountains and Sunset Experience

Morning: Begin your adventure early with a scenic drive to the trailhead, passing lush landscapes and small villages. Meet your guide and start trekking through rolling hills, rice terraces, and dense forests. Afternoon: Pause for lunch at a tranquil spot, surrounded by nature. Afterward, continue the trek uphill, with stops to explore local flora, cascading streams, and breathtaking views. Evening: Arrive at a viewpoint in time to witness a stunning mountain sunset. The golden hues blanket the horizon, offering a serene moment of awe. Night: Hike a short distance to the Lahou tribe village. Settle into the homestay, where you’ll be welcomed with warm smiles and a traditional meal cooked over an open fire. Engage with the locals, learn about their unique culture, and enjoy a peaceful night's sleep in rustic yet comfortable accommodations.

Day 2: Morning in the Village and Descent

Early Morning: Wake up to the sounds of roosters and gentle village life. Enjoy a simple breakfast and sip tea or coffee while the sun rises over the mountains. Morning Activities: Take a guided tour of the village to learn about the Lahou people’s customs, weaving techniques, and farming practices. You may also participate in a hands-on activity, such as planting or weaving. Midday: Begin your descent along a different route, offering new perspectives of the landscape. Stop for lunch along the way, soaking in the tranquility of the mountains. Afternoon: Arrive at the trailhead, where transportation awaits to take you back to your starting point or onward to your next destination.

DAY 1: Luang Namtha city- Ban Chalernsouk – Ban Nalan Neua village

Morning: Begin your journey early to enjoy the cool air as you trek up the trail to the peak of a scenic viewpoint. The trail might weave through lush forests, with the sound of birdsong and rustling leaves accompanying your steps. As you ascend, expect a mix of gentle paths and steeper climbs, offering occasional rest points with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. Noon: Reach the peak just before midday, where panoramic views await. From this vantage point, you might see rolling hills, distant mountain ranges, or a patchwork of jungles and farmland. Take time to soak in the beauty, capture photographs, and enjoy a light packed lunch. Afternoon: Descend from the viewpoint, either along the same path or via a different route that leads deeper into the jungle. Along the way, you may encounter small waterfalls, streams, or unique flora and fauna. Your guide will share stories about the local ecology and traditions connected to the forest. DAY 2: Ban Nalan Neua - Ban Nalan Tai – Ban Namkoy – Ban Namlue village

Amazing, unique 2 day trip. Sink into Akha culture as you learn about their food, music, dress, and more. A full 2 days of walking in the jungle of the Nam Ha NPA. A magical night in a Akha tribe minority village, in an eco-lodge built by the villagers or home stay with family. You can even do a cooking class! Truly experience the nature and local culture. Trained guides will share information about the ecology and culture. Time will be taken to explore ethnic villages. We will learn about traditional crafts and engage with locals.

DAY 1: Luang Namtha city - Ban Chalernsouk - Ban Phouvan (Ahka tribe)

The tour starts from our office in Luang Namtha centre for 40 minutes to Khmu village named Ban Chalernsouk where children are likely to greet you with curiosity and smile, Here you will meet your village guide who will assist you. He will accompany you all the way on this trek and who will lead us through the forest trails and your guide will introduce you to the local life and customs.

And then you will wilk up and down inside NPA forest and let enjoy the natural surroundings you and keep your ears and eyes open for birds, deer, boar, monitor lizard and monkeys. Your guide will share his knowledge for collect some eatable plant and soon we will stop for a local picnic lunch. After lunch time, we will continue to walk along small stream to see waterfalls for take a rest and refreshing bath there for a few minute, then we continue hiking up mountain until reaching the Ahka farms. You use this opportunity to working, soon you have to arrive the Ahka village, interacting of this this village have more than Hundred children, you have to enjoy a view point. Before sunset we have to cook an organic food for your dinner. After dinner, you will receive a special Ahka massage style that is a traditionally giving to the their guests spend the night in their village.

DAY 2: Ban Phouvan (Ahka tribe) - Ban Chalernsouk - Luang Namtha city

In the morning, you can take a walk around the village to see how the Ahka people preparing to their daily activities in the fields and to see the fog that covers the Nam Ha landscape.

On this day, we will visit a local village school where you can observe the village children learning. Feel free to donate school books, pens, pencils etc. to school

After breakfast we continue to walk down through the fields of the Phouvan villager, where you can enjoy breath taking views of the Nam Ha protected area. The path continues through primary and secondary forest. After 3 hours of trekking, you will make a stop to have traditional Akha lunch in the forest together with your guides.

After lunch you will continue walking through lush primary forest. The trek will end around 4:00 pm in the Charleurnsouk village. The tuk tuk will bring you back to office in Luang Namtha.
