Trip Overview

It’s your time to adventure! Embark on a 2-day trek and wilderness experience. Truly experience the nature and local culture. Trained guides will share information about the ecology and culture. Time will be taken to explore ethnic villages. We will learn about traditional crafts and engage with locals.

Itinerary

8:30 am: Make sure you arrive at our office to prepare for your trekking
9:00 am: Meeting with your guide and departure from the office by Tuk-Tuk

Day 1: Into the Heart of the Forest

• Morning: Begin your journey by heading deep into the Namha National Protected Area. The highlight of the day is visiting the legendary big tree, a towering natural wonder that showcases the untouched beauty of this forest. Learn about the tree's ecological significance and the role it plays in the surrounding environment.
• Afternoon: Continue your exploration of the lush jungle. Spot wildlife and exotic plants as you walk through dense greenery.
• Evening: Arrive at your forest camp, where you can choose your overnight experience:
  • Option 1: Stay in a cozy forest hut for a more comfortable night with basic facilities.
  • Option 2: Embrace your inner adventurer by building your own shelter using natural materials, guided by local experts. Enjoy a campfire dinner under the stars.

Day 2: Cultural Namha Valleys, and Stunning Views

• Morning: After breakfast, embark on a scenic walk through the Namha Valley, known for its breathtaking views and rich biodiversity. Along the way, you'll explore unique flora and fauna in their natural habitat.
• Midday: Reach the Khmu tribe and Lantan along Namha volley in the NPA. Marvel at its cascading beauty and take time to relax in its tranquil surroundings.
• Afternoon: Continue your hike to the highest viewpoint overlooking Luang Namtha city. From this vantage point, enjoy panoramic views of the city and surrounding landscapes.
• End of Trip: Descend from the viewpoint and complete your journey by 3–4 PM.
